"Best Value out there!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Like I said before, the delay could be better, and the harmonist effect is definitely missing! All other features are great. Great Value.
Sound
The sound is really good, I have heard Boss distortion pedals that do not sound as good, for example. Excellent for small garage bands that wanna have some fun!
Features
It sucks that it does not include the AC Adapter, then again, it would not be as cheap. The Expression Pedal is excellent. You can do "Morello-like" stuff! I wish it had a Harmonist effect, kinda like Incubus "Nice to Know You", but it has other great things: distortions, pitch effects, etc. The delay effect could also be better, as far as the feedback and the depth is concerned. But it is fine.
Quality
If you are careful, this product, even though it is made out of plastic, should last. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, so I don't really know. Again, as long as you take care of it, you should be ok!
Value
If you just want to play small gigs with some cool effects, you should be ok! Don't expect to be able to sound like Metallica with this modest pedal. You can get really close though! Best thing out there for the price: best value!
Manufacturer Support
There should be a "Does not apply" option for this category. I have never had to deal with them.
The Wow Factor
The moment I read the features, the reviews and saw the price, I WANTED IT!!! I am improving my songwriting and even my playing skills with it!

"My Toy Box"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Picked this up about 15 or more years ago because I didn't want to invest in a line of stomp boxes. It still serves me well. Re-wrote many of the patches to suit my needs and sound tastes. Some of these drop jaws every time and have become signature sounds for me in the gig world.I am 62 years old and played since I was 11. I enjoy a relatively pure sound and want to hear the wood of the guitar in the mix and the zoom allows this because of the value adjustments.Bottom line - the pre-sets are ok but I prefer to tell the box what to do.Could use a bit more response in the pedal and some of the effects are noisy even using the ZNR settings especially when layering many effects to the same patch - but thats not my thing anyway.Another disadvantage is that the only way to add/subtract effects one at a time is to change patches utilizing the previous setting and adding the new one.Over-all the Zoom 606 was a good choice for me and recommend it.P.S. the ac adapter wire finally gave out. Purchased a replacement on line.

"better value and great performance. great for newbies."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
first of all i bought it coz it's cheaper than other brands and it's allready complete. but somehow i need some other distortion sound that i couldn't unlock with the 606. a better version of this maybe would satisfy me truly.
Sound
it sounds sweet with the right setting. dorky settings could lead you to dorky soundng tones. you'll need to get used to it befire it becomes a true friend.
Features
it's made up of stiff plastic and a stainless thick metal plate at the bottom. the expression pedal may somehow loosten when used for wah or whatever for long period of time. it's kinda light so it somehow moves on stage. the real pain is when the rubber grip underneath comes of.
Quality
pretty nice for a multi effects that is much more cheaper.
Value
it's affordable and it could stand alone w/o other pedals. and why should you need other pedals? it's complete.
Manufacturer Support
they have a repair shop. just bring it to the authorized dealer you have purchased it and they would takecare of the rest for you.
The Wow Factor
the slick plastic feels good and looks so good. stylish indeed.

Zoom 606 Guitar Effects Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
kinda good, a bit newbie pedal but still good for pros, it's not just the effects that counts, its the music itself.
Sound
The effects are nice, it's so cool to get different sounds then only distortion. It gets your music way cooler
Features
A bunch of effects, only the WAH is not that good.
Quality
cheap plastic made, and i think it will break soon :/
Value
should have been a bit lower, it's not that much of a thing.
Manufacturer Support

"This thing rocks and is built rock solid."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
For the cash it rules...
Sound
I played the Digitech's and bought the Zoom. I know some people like the Digitech, but they either can't hear anything or don't know the difference. The distortion is excellent for the price.
Features
Tuner is cool. Effects are awesome. Wish the delay was a little longer, but had the same problem with stomp boxes.
Quality
All my bud's complained about the plastic case. The plastic case is is tougher than steel. I've had the pedal for over a year now and it's still rocking. (The digitech's RP model die after a year or so of abuse)
Value
It was five dollars more than the Digitech pedal and has lasted 6 months more my previous Digitech RP died. If this one brakes I will either replace it with the same model or upgrade to the 707.
Manufacturer Support
NA nevar had to contact anyone.
The Wow Factor
The gold color rocks and is easier to find on stage under the lights.

"Zoom 606- for shredders like u and i"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I love it, buy it. The only bad thing is that the eq level for the reverb is not what i consider ideal, but everything else rocks. buy it. have lots of fun with it!
Sound
very good sounds and a very versatile piece of equiment. A very good tool to have in every arsenal of shredders and light jazz musicians (take it from me, im both). Can do pretty much anything in any style, so really good if u just wanna bring one pedal to a gig.
Features
Lots of great sounding effects.
Quality
Made of plastic in most models, but if your really stomping on your pedals that hard, then you dont know how to play guitar my friend.
Value
Man, i bought this other pedal that couldnt do have the ^ that this one does, and it cost 150.00 bucks more! WEAK!!!!!
Manufacturer Support
I had never actually owned any Zoom products before this one, but I was curious and i fell in love with this pedal when i played it.

"This product is really cool coz i give you smooth feeling while on stage wherein you can select what effect you like during live"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I like the drive sound of it.
Sound
The first time i used it Im a little bit confused, but as you try to apreciate it then the operation are smooth even for live performance. I like the sound of it coz it was like you are having a lot of stompboxes in front of you. The sound analog but becom digital, well thats pretty cool. I love it! To make this product sound better is for the user to set their own desired setting because you can edit it and save. For example i set 1 patch to smooth and clean sound and then when the big chorus go i hit the other setting i used to boost my overdrive thats give me more drive using awesome power chords!
Quality
its good, but it shoud be made in a metal case
The Wow Factor
i think this product if i have one would be enough for me.

"in memory of my ZOOM 606"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
well, the only reason im getting a korg ax1500g is because my 606 died, i still got it in case i meet someone who can fix it because i think it's toooo good of a pedal to throw away. R.I.P you were the best pedal i ever had (and my first)lol
Sound
i prefer this to my amp's distortion, some good choices, the expression pedal sounds strong with 9 different wahs, how did they do it?!?!? the pitch shifter is my favourite i can bring my tuning down for good old fashion death metal to anyone who owns one of these, plug in a microphone and hey presto!!! a realistic sounding voice changer. i love it!!!!!!! acoustic simulator is a bit bassy though
Features
the assignable expression pedal is very sharp and you can hear exactly what it's meant to be and can be used for wah, pitch shifting, volume, gain, and effect depth. The tuner is ace. no power supply though.
Ease of Use
i never had the problem for the guy i bought it off had assigned some good effects already and he showed me how to use it.
Quality
i dont like the plastic, the paint has fallen off, i need to resolder the jack inputs and the power supply input, i dont even have the pedal anymore. it died you see. damn i miss it.
Value
good value for money but eventually it will die on you without the care and attention, but even then, death is enevitable
Manufacturer Support
i never made contact.
The Wow Factor
it's a very pratical pedal, small yet equally as good to larger effect processors, the silver looks great until it falls off.

"Intermediate Pedal"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is the perfect intermediate pedal so i say go for it.
Sound
Distortion is good, i like the drives, but u gotta set um up yourself because most of the factory released "patches" aren't that good, but with a lil fine tuning u can make this thing sound pretty good.
Features
Although it has a lot of effects, most of them are to "automatic" i guess would be the word, you cannot tweak them as much as i would like, but for something just to play around with and use different drives its not a bad deal at all.
Quality
This thing feel like plastic.
Value
Well worth it.

Haven't had any problems :D

I think it will be great until my band starts playing out and i need some better stuff.
Sound
its pretty awesome. This is my first pedal so i dont really have too much expirience with them but i love this thing.
Features
The only bad thing is that you have to buy the ac adaptor seperate, but besides that it rocks.
Quality
I think it will last a long time because it is pretty sturdy and it seem to be made well.
Manufacturer Support
no problems yet

Sound
sound is pretty decent for the money, follow instructions(also easy)and invest in a dc converter, very worth the money.got my 9v jack at radioshack, make sure to buy the right one.
Features
35 effects i really enjoy about 30 so far, maybein time ill have need for the other 5,but even though i sofar only like 30 its probably just me, im very picky
Quality
when i first saw it in the box i thought, looks like cheese white metal junk, but it is very sturdy and looks really cool, parts are precision and at 80 bucks that would be hard to beat, even to match

"great sound from a great product"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I reckon the 606 delievers a really good sound for todays modern rock guitarist. It has a great crunchy distortion setting, cool wah sounds (not just for soloing), and some good ideas to make ur own signature soloing sound. The only con about the 606 is its acoustic settings, they dont deliever the power and sharpness that i would preffer in my sound.
Features
It has many great features.

"nice heavy stuff"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
verrrrrrry goog and easy
Sound
I would say buy this thing no doubt it is the best sound machine I have I have a Boss metal zone but the sound created with this piece of equipment is much more heavier and accurater to the guitar. the "fabric"sounds are good but with a little tweaking and fizzling with the buttons you can make it greAAAt. once you heard it you will be amazed that such a powerfull sound is put into that box!!!
Features
no accesoires no problems... (has a long life with batteries and a superlong life on adaptor) :-)
Quality
nice and heavy plastic never broke it and it has survived maaaany things(like falling from car at 60 KM/H)
Value
verrrry nice price for the things you get
Manufacturer Support
don't know never needed them
The Wow Factor
nice color :-)
