If you haven't picked up a pedal and aren't quite sure where to start - this is a great pedal to pick up. Why?1. Multieffects. Obviously. And they get updated and increased. You can try out quite a few types of effects without sinking money into individual pedals. When you get a feel for what you like or want, you can pick up bespoke pedals and set up a chain. Or just keep using this. 2. Utility. This has a tuner built in - mind you, I think my Snark does a better, more precise job, but this has one built in, as well as a bit of a rhythm kit and - bonus - in a pinch you can plug headphones into the output and use this as a practice amp - with your effects, without having to bother anyone else. 3. Value. C'mon, it's under $100. To experiment with sounds without dropping hundreds of dollars on other pedals (or risking cheap $20 pedals from some unknown Chinese site?) Worth it. Now, yes, it's plastic. I haven't had it a *long* time, so I can't say how this will hold up. And the expression pedal could be larger - just for more precise use (though there's also a version without it if you don't want to mess with wah or volume swells or some of the other effects that take advantage.) But overall? It's a good item to pick up.

This is a super cool effects unit for the price point. You can spend $100.00 or more on JUST a volume pedal or a looper or a rhythm unit separately. To have all of these plus the great sounds in this package is the true definition of bang for the buck. This is the best effects box for someone like me: A beginner in the world of stomp boxes who wants to explore the sounds of different amp & effect combinations.A BIG thanks to you all at zZounds. I ordered my Zoom pedal on a Friday & expected it to arrive on the following Wednesday. You gave me the means to track my order & it arrived a day early. I’ll be back to order more soon! I haven't learned but about 40 percent of what this unit is capable of as it has many features. The controls on board give a lot of flexibility. Whether you are a newbie or have been around the Horn I feel this pedal is worth more than it costs, way more in fact. Build quality is very good and it seems quite rugged. I set all controls on my amps to flat response and adjust the curve with the onboard tone controls.

I already own the zoom B1X,for my studio , I needed a 2nd one for my band it just made more sense to to get another one, zoom makes really awesome products I had them over the years with the newer technology it’s the best,I also have the G1X when I’m jamming on my guitar

I am moving this. Is does great ⁰with the basses I have but surprise it works wonders with my ukulele also. The plethora of beats is extremely nice. I'll be getting more zoom in the future
