I bought this as a simple and cheap solution to build a pedal board. I was looking to purchase a chorus, delay, reverb and was looking at over $300 to get them. I then had the issue of how I was going to step on 3 pedals every time a solo came up. I thought about something like a line6 pod or a boss multi effect pedal but those are massive and honestly, have much more than I need. I have no use for amp sims or distortions as I'm running this into the loop. I happened to come across this pedal on zZounds and figured for the price I would take a chance on it. I am so glad that I did. I'm running into the loop of a mesa boogie triple rectifier and am having no issues, even with the parallel loop. The pedal has input and output level controls as well as volume controls for each individual effect. It is very tweakable and has a massive range of available tones. The pedal is very easy to use, if you've ever used any form of digital modeling processor you'll be right at home. The 3 knobs also operate as buttons and then there are 4 buttons around the foot switch. Once you hit each button a couple of times you'll see how it all works and it's a breeze to get things set up. You can save many banks of settings and then either use 1 at a time as a typical on/off stompbox or you can set your presets in the order of your choice and then cycle through them with the foot switch. So, for example the way I run it I can either have a solo setting that adds reverb, delay, eq, and a little volume bump and turn the pedal on and off or I can have just an eq running, then use the button to flip between that and the solo channel if I choose to leave the pedal on all the time. It's very usable and convenient. Finally, I'll just mention a couple of tips. First off, read the manual. It's pretty short but very informative. If you're using multiple effects in a chain make sure you have a line selector as the first in the chain. I learned this one because if for example you have 3 effects on 1 patch and 1 of them is highlighted when you hit the button it will only turn off that effect and leave the other 2 on. If you add a line selector and make sure that it is displayed on the screen when you hit the button it kills the entire chain, so make sure you do that. Again, overall I'm very happy that I bought this. It does have a slight effect on the tone when engaged but for me it's acceptable. The effects sound absolutely fantastic and have tons of tweakability. You can really dial in your presenters and get exactly what you need. The eq effects are very effective and really shape your tone and when in the loop have a huge effect on your tone. There are a couple of HD effects in it as well which sound absolutely amazing. Give this thing a try you may just find what you've been looking for.

I was extremely impressed with this pedal. Finally a single stomp box that can deliver up to 6 effects with one touch of a button. It took me a minute to learn the functions and how to control and customize settings. It comes with detailed instructions but the very small print made it hard to read. After playing with it for a bit I had it all figured out and is actually fairly easy. WOW it will pretty much get you wherever you wanna go. This little box has a multitude of stomp boxs within. Not only chorus reverb delay but eq, rotary speakers, reverse reverb, flanger and a bunch of others. I am a 25 year gigging musician who loves analog pedals and don't normally like digital pedals but I took a chance on this as I was trying to find a single stomp box for my pedal board with multi effects for solos and clean channel. I didn't wanna have to hit multiple buttons every time I played a solo or something clean (chorus, delay, reverb). I play through a peavey 6505 amp and I wanted true bypass when I didn't need effects for that dry crunch the peavey provides. I was skeptical at first because I have tried a billion other digital effects and was not impressed. Well that all changed when I plugged this little gem in. This IS the pedal we have all been looking for and it DOES live up to the hype. I have not owned it very long to see how durable it will be and it is a bit noisy. I use a noise gate in front of it and it works fine to hush the line noise. I highly recommend this pedal for your pedal board if you need 1 push of a button effects with true bypass. The most versatile pedal I have ever owned. LOVE IT !!!

I just wanted to come on and say that I’ve had my pedal for about six months and it is one that I will go to from here on out. It is a band in a box or affects in a box multiple effects. The CDR is just chorus Delay , an reverb. No Its got much much more.Too many to list but the cool thing is it you can configure six different panels as long as the CPU can keep up. Which it does a really good job. The delays are awesome the choruses are top notch.I have found that it even has compressor and limiter in it. This thing does just about everything you want to do. I have come up with sounds that I could only dream of. Go get yourself one and enjoy

I had high hopes and initially like the unit. It does so much but doesn't do reverb very well. No matter how I tweak any one of the reverbs I still get a wobbly tremolo effect. It drives me nuts. Most of us came up with amps with built in reverb. Usually it was just Less or more. That was it. It's nice to have additional options but you can't get a decent reverb out of this unit. The delays and flangers aren't bad. Nice to have an eq. Chorus is good. I'm returning it. I have yet to find a single multi effects pedal that do all well. Bottom line it's a jack of all trades and master of none.

While Zoom packed a lot of stuff into this pedal, but, if you think it is some stellar level delay or reverb effect it is not. It can do the job but at some point you will move on, that being said let me tell you what I liked about and not so much about it:What I liked:-bloody great ZNR noise reduction effect, very transparent, removed the slight surface hiss I had, I would keep it for that and the following:-The EP3 delay model has an amazing preamp switch which is the warm, Eric Johnson sounding EP3 preamp to a tee. Preamp works with the delay off which I really like. What I found wanting on the unit:-This was the most user unfriendly confusing editor array I have yet seen. Even after I figured it out I still bumble through it and it saves everything even when you do not want it (there is supposed to be an off I have not got to yet.) You will constantly have to re position the chain when you add something, and if you get 4-5 things of any quality your DSP is up.-It is a major pain to turn things on and off in a preset or change a preset using live. I'd classify it as a very on the fly user unfriendly puppy. -I found the delays and reverbs to be somewhat muddled, not very dynamic or rich sounding and this is not from the NR or preamp although the preamp does alter the sound. I just could not get the beautiful sounding delays and reverbs w clarity and dynamic range from other pedals. That being said, I'll keep it for the EP3 preamp thing and the NR but modulation, delays and reverbs, best out to another better pedal. Cost more yes, but I am picky about sound quality and range of adjust. This is fill in for immediate needs which is what I got it for. You might like this if you are new to effects and have never used a real quality high end pedal. This will do or make for a starter pedal but a short lived fill-in for me. Bottom line hell of a value for the bucks, but you get what you pay for in quality and dynamic range or effects.
