"My favorite effects pedal out there!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Purchaser zZounds has verified that this reviewer purchased this specific product from us.
Best pedal i've ever owned and you simply can't beat the price. I highly reccomend buying this, it is another one of Zoom's amazing products.
Sound
The sound on this thing is crazy awesome! I use it on a 60w Fender and a 120w Peavey and this thing rocks on both. The gain is incredibly good as well as the delay and the znr/amp modes. One of the best pedals for gain. This thing is great for any type of music and I don't get any static with it either.
Features
Has a lot of features that other pedals don't have. It has an entire knob just for selecting gains eg. peavey, distortion, metal, Fuzz, lead, etc. My favorite feature is that is has four pedals so it gives you four choices.
Ease of Use
If you have ever used a Zoom product then this will be cake for you. Very easy to program and save. Switching effects is also a cinch and there is no static when switching from one effect to the other.
Quality
Very sturdy, I've had it for 4 months and it doesn't have one scratch on it. I use it all the time and it doesn't nick the metal frame. All knobs are still completely sturdy and it easily fits in my case.
Value
You can't get a better pedal for the price, this thing is one of a kind.
Manufacturer Support
I never needed it, pedal is easy to use and never broke.
The Wow Factor
This thing even looks awesome, it sticks out.... very sexy.

"turific product for cheap!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
it is a great product and totally worth the price
Sound
the sound with this is amazing, i got this pedal for christmas and it does everything i need for my guitar. i play in a band and this pedal is perfect for small or even larger sized bands
Features
it had all the features i wanted in a pedal except it doesn't come with the AV cord and it takes 4 AA's at a time, but they last for a while, i eventually bought a AV cord for it because i got bored spending money for batterys for the pedal, i use this pedal alot
Ease of Use
it is very easy to ues, it isn't so easy that you can just turn it on and BAM! easy, but if you glance through the book real quick you get the idea how to use it and you find out it is very simple
Quality
the quality on this is turific, sound wise and equiptment wise, sound wise i have no problems, very clear, equiptment wise, made of metal, stong and duable
Value
a great value, even when i got it for $100
Manufacturer Support
never needed it, me pedal works turificly
The Wow Factor

"Crazy Value for Money"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Features
Excellent range of amp models and effects for everyday use - lots of subtle variation possible. Should have included power supply, but otherwise no complaints. Optional expression pedal socket available if you can't do without your wah pedal.
Quality
Beautiful, solid metal construction, quality rotary controls with chicken-head knobs, nice accurate value & gain buttons, military standard footswitches, rigidly mounted steel jacksockets. The whole thing has in invincible feel about it, like a 60s British amp!
Value
Absoutely stunning value for money even at RRP - and you can save at least 30% if you shop around. To get a unit this natural-sounding, and with such remarkable build quality, for under

"Amazing effects, amazing price!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Purchaser zZounds has verified that this reviewer purchased this specific product from us.
If it last's as long as I think it will, and no one steals it from me, I wouldn't replace it. If I lose it or it dies, I would buy another without hesitation.
Sound
The sound is very good, I really like the Chorus and delay/reverb effects. I have a small 15watt Austin amp and it makes it sound much better than it did straight from the guitar.
Features
The unit is fairly heavy, it must be a steel chassis. It seems like it will last for awhile. The switches for the patches look well designed so it should be able to take normal use and not be breaking when you least expect it. I also like the Control input. I rewired an old volume pedat as a Control device and it works perfectly!
Ease of Use
If you read the instructions, the setup and editing of the patches and Banks is a breeze!
Quality
I haven't opened it up to look at the insides as yet, but I will guess that it is very good. the outside controls and connections are good quality and well layed out. The red finish isn't very good, mine is a combination of orange peel and dry spray( Didn't flow out properly ). The white markings seem to be well bonded though and shouldn't wear off too soon.
Value
If you add up all the effects and the convienience of operation, you could spend thousands for the same sounds and have a complicated mess to deal with.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't registered it as yet, at such a low price I don't think I'll bother.
The Wow Factor
I wanted it the second I saw it! So I bought one!!!

"GREAT EFFECT BOARD"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Sound
I just got this, It's cool, I Guess it just has to brake-in, Then it wiill sound better. I also got the optional ps2 power supply, Now I don't have to worry about batteries. So, I can leave the unit pluged-in, But I do unplug the poower supply, So I don't fry the thing. I still don't know how to use the built-in cho-amatic tuner I have to read more of the directions. But it is a cool pedal easy set up, cause there is no set up. GOOD JOB ZOOM
Features
Evrything is still alittle confusing I just got it a few days ago, So, It will takw time to get used too

"Simple, yet Fantastic Pedal. Worth Way more than it Costs."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Sound
The clean sounds and chorus are vibrant.
Features
The patches change instantly. The interface is very intuitive with a short learning curve. The onboard tuner works great and is easy to see even in dim light.
Quality
This thing is built sturdy, great for playing out with. Not a cheap plastic pedal toy.
The Wow Factor
This is a lot of pedal for the money. Amazingly good sounds in a solid build. Small enough to through into your case and take along. It also sounds nice recorded in stereo.

Zoom GFX-1 Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
The GFX-1 product brought this beginner / hobbyinst to the next level. I knew how effects could enhance the sound of the play, but always thought you had to have multiple pedals. At 50-100 bucks a whack for pedals, it was a bit discouraging. then I learned of effects processors, and this one is steel, tough, and has plenty of variety to choose from. I'm now getting into creating new sounds, other than what is pre-programmed. Very Cool.

"GOOD ENTRY LEVEL PEDAL, suitable for small time bands, pro's should invest their moneys else where."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Features
Does not come with an extra jack-to-jack cable or a power adaptor, purchased separately. It has a stirdy metal chasis, can take a beating on stage.
Quality
Has a metal chasis like i said, not sure of the purple colour though.
