small foot print. Very nice display. The sounds are good including pedal models. Looper has a clicker excellent feature. They really did this pedal right very happy with it. for 50 dollars I think it cant be beat. noted models carbon copy model, tube screamer, govenor and big muff. only thing i dont like i dont think you can turn off or choose diferrent cabinet simulator on amp models.

My first impressions were favourable upon opening the box & plugging in to my VOX Valvetronix combo amp. I wasn't quite as chuffed with the firmware selection process though. It isn't exactly 'intuitive' - my opinion only of course. Sounds - ie the fx - are quite decent all being said and I used up three sets of batteries over a week using this pedal each day for an hour or two. I got better battery life by turning off the backlight of course but that was at the expense of actually being able to see what settings I was trying to use! Day six I experienced the classic (from the old 70s days) silence! I checked my lead, it was fine, I checked the Vox out.. fine I think. Then I touched the input jack to the G1on pedal and located the problem. It was inside the pedal... an intermitent contact. :-( The unit is kind of 'bedroom' quality imo, I'm sure that's why it's half the price of a dedicated metal body pedal like an Ibanez or Boss. Zoom are clever at squeezing 'value' for your $ into their devices - the R8 sd recorder being a prime example, but it's possibly better to go traditional and save up for discrete metal bodied pedals if you want them to last or are gigging. I just think that it's me - I don't like the methodology employed inside the firmware/software whatever in the Zoom equipment designs. I'm old school I spose!

Yea this pedal is worth the investment.I had the Zoom G series and this is the same quality as far as effects. I play Guitar at Church and Bass for my Contemporary Christian band so I ordered the B1on model as well. Very pleased with the purchase!
