This is definately a keeper without a doubt. Zoom has a true winner here. I highly reccommend this pedal to anyone who is either on a low budget or who is a beginner. This is probably the BEST processor today in this price range and blows away anything that Digitech has out on the market as far as I'm concerned.
Sound
I bought a Digitech RP-70 a couple of weeks ago, and to be honest I wasn't totally happy with so I bought it back today for a refund and ended up getting this little beast instead. I am in awe of how great the sounds from this are in comparison to my old Digitech. this blows it away. The amp models, effects, EQ settings, etc, are all top notch and give my Fender Strats a totally new sound. I am in love with this pedal and know I could use it for a gig.
Features
Plastic casing, big deal . I can handle that. The adaptor is a nice plus considering that most of your processors today are known for eating up batteries within days.
Ease of Use
This pedal is so easy to set up. Within 5 minutes, I had my personal patches that I needed ready and set to go.
Quality
For $60.00, this is a well made product which I could see lasting a long time, providing you take proper care of it.
Value
Definately worth the price tag, and IMO maybe more. This is the best effects processor I have ever used in my 37 years of playing. Simple yet effective, which is how I like things.
Manufacturer Support
Hadn't had to contact them.
The Wow Factor
Looks cool.

"Zoom zoom zoom! (I love these guys)"

It is indeed very nice sound for the price. Like all Zoom stuff it contains some random odds and ends you may never want to use, but they are fun to goof around with (the Drum loop, 'Step' emulator and the 'Ring' mod are good examples of stuff that you might just have fun goofing around with but not take very seriously) Still for thrice the price you seriously cannot find a better multi... maybe a more durable one for live... but for studio use it is safe. And cheap. And good.
Sound
I owned just about all the Zoom guitar multis since the 9000, I guess I'm a bit of a collector. I have to say I can't hear much difference in sound 'quality' between this and my G1 or my G2.1. Its far beyond the 9000 or the 505, 707, etc... It's definitely from the 'new' generation of zoomers. very clear, good noise. etc. But really, the amp modelers are just as clear and expressy as the 2.1 which is about thrice the price. The flanger and phaser and autowah kind of mod effects are kind of brittle, either too weak in the signal, or too much... hard to find a middle ground. But the amp models are nice, the noise reduction, the EQ, and another delay/reverb never hurts to have laying around in the studio. I am completely unconcerned with the drum machine but it's cute I guess for some kind of companion for lonely practice in headphones, but it kind of drives you nuts if you let it keep playing.
Features
I didn't get an adaptor with it, but I already had one from a previous Zoom pedal. All their adaptors are interchangeable. I guess they have an extra 'control' pedal input but I don't have one of those either. The drum machine is not particularly useful, but at least they threw it in there. Mostly this is good to fill in for pedal setups that would cost far more, or emulare amps, but it takes some programming to make it sounds how you want. The presets are all mismatched and far from normalized level-wise, and although all the sounds you could need are in there somewhere, I wouldn't rely on the presets, just take the time and program your own.
Ease of Use
This thing is super duper easy. Turn 1 know to what you want to adjust, turn the other knob to change the parameter. Actually the best most intuitive way of approaching a multipedal I have ever seen. I prefer this way to the one on my 2.1... because everything is written right there on it for you. No param1,2,and3, where you have to remember which parameter does what for what effect model... just parameter knob... up or down :) very friendly.
Quality
Hard plastic shell doesn't get a 10, but it's pretty 'heavy' feeling which means to me a nice dense well organized internal circuitry. I can step on it, but I don't really want to throw it.
Value
I dare anyone to find more nice sounds in a single little multipedal pedal for this price. Boss stuff is way more expensive, Digitech is way more plasticy and toy-ish, Zoom gets it right... again (as I said before I am a big Zoom fan anyway)
Manufacturer Support
Zoom guys are actually really cool. They love their customers. That's why they give us so many cool little tools.
The Wow Factor
I wanted one. BUT I just use it in studio for amp models and effects though. On stage I would prefer using a couple more pedals, for wah, volume, and actual amp drive instead of a modeler. it is difficult to stand on its own live, so I see no need to bring it out in public unless I had nothing else to use, in which case, go for it... no appologies this is rock... go with what you got.

"BIG SOUNDS IN A SMALL PACKAGE , AT AN EVEN SMALLER PRICE !! YOU'LL LOVE IT ! I DO !!!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

I see a long-term relationship between myself and this pedal ! Unless it breaks , I WON'T replace it ....I AM planning on buying the "George Lynch effects pedal" in the near future ! It won't "replace " it , I'll use it to ehance my set-up .
Sound
The sound is worlds better than I'd expected , for the small price-tag . I'm playing an " Austin", Les Paul "knock-off" and using a "Crate- 15R 'Flexwave' practice amp . I was expecting it to have some decent effects ...but MAN was I ever surprised ! This thing is AWESOME ! Best money I've EVER spent ! I just got it today , and I've spent the last four hours ,playing with it ! I still can't seem to figure out how to increase or decrease the tempo on the "Drum-Machine-Feature" , but I'll figure it out ! I think I'm going to buy the " George-Lynch-signature series" effects pedal next . I can't imagine how much money it would have cost to have bought all those effects seperately. It was smaller than what it appeared on the website , but DON'T let it's size fool you ....this little thing's a MONSTER !!!!! It came with everything it was supposed to have , and it worked ....right outta the box ! The folks at "ZOOM" have really outdone themselves with this little effects pedal ! I'm on a "budget" as far as my music equipment goes ,and there's NO WAY I could've gotten the same stuff at this price ...ANYWHERE!!!! Either way ,.....it's MINE NOW ,and ya ain't gettin' it back ! I love it !!! Thanks ZZounds.com .....you guys are AWESOME !!!!!!!
Features
YES ....all the parts and pieces were there and functional ! So far ...the least useful feature would have to be the drum machine , (that's because I haven't figured out how to operate it yet ! LOL )
Ease of Use
It's simple to get the sounds you want outta this thing ....just keep pushing the pedals til you hear what you want , then "adjust" to your taste. It's easy !
Quality
No blemishes ,or defects that I can see , as of yet ....
Value
MOST DEFINATELY !!!!!! It's actually worth more , to me ....but I'll take it at the price I paid for it ! LOL
Manufacturer Support
I'll let ya know IF I ever have a problem with it ,(which I doubt I ever will )
The Wow Factor
The only thing I'm not too fond of , is the "Gold-color" ...other than that ....who cares ....it's freakin' AWESOME !!!! This pedal isn't just an addition to my set-up ...it's THE ESSENTIAL "CENTER-PIECE" of my set-up ! My system is now complete ,in my eyes !
