The Zoom F3 has 32-Bit Floating Point, which is great for audio people who forget to "Gain Stage".Also, the Zoom F3 is small enough to fit on a boom pole for great convenience in certain recording situations. Furthermore, the Zoom F3 is small enough to function great in a lot of "Run-N-Gun" filming situations (as well as in other small, confined spaces where bulky recording gear makes it difficult to record audio).The Zoom F3 is a great compliment to other bulky field recording devices like Sound Devices, Zoom F8/Zoom F8N, and others.
