hopefully awhile just upgraded my shells so I can't afford to buy new hats...
Sound
These hi hats sound great out of the package... The coating is now starting to chip and fade in spots and I have had them about 9 months... Still sound pretty good... These sound absolutely great out of the package, I also have the splash which still sounds great. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't gig on a regular basis... IE...more than 2 times per month otherwise they will just get ate up
Features
I went with the 15" mastersound and I love the 15" hats... hard to find at most places... There aren't really any special features its just hats... they open they close they make noise... they sound good!
Ease of Use
foot on foot off... if you can't figure it out you shouldn't be doing percussion
Quality
had them 9 months and maybe only a little bit of sound deadening

for the price of them it is a good value.

The Wow Factor
Well when they first came out I was drawn to them being black and wanted them badly, but now I wish I had just gotten brilliant finish... again, they sound great for the money. it is worth the money.
