As a songwriter, I love electric guitars - especially for noodling on the sofa as I create progressions that become songs. They are just a bit easier than acoustics at times. The worst part is setting up my rig - pedal board, amp and Helix. It sounds amazing all together, but requires setup, time and space. This inhibits spontaneity and creativity. Instead, I resort to my acoustic. Until I found this.At only a few pounds and unexpectedly small, it carries easily. The sound and built in effects make creativity quick and intuitive. Add a backing track with Bluetooth and get your jam on. It is as at home with a group of friends as it is... well, at home! It's sound is full and defined at low volumes. It just makes playing, songwriting and noodling so quick and easy any place you find yourself. My only regret is I didn't by the battery-powered version to become inspired anywhere. That will be my next purchase. If you're serious about guitar, this little amp makes it easy to explore and let inspiration envelop you anywhere. Just do it.

Must be plugged into a wall. Whats the point? Its light weight take anywhere size is now pointless. The original thr 10 used 8 aa batteries. Ive allready paid $323.00 so guitar center has it on order. Im cancelling my order tomorrow. Ill will find the old battery powered one on line. I will save a few bucks and have a portable amp. It will be my third one. Bump the toggle switch the amp is trash. Tug the power input cord slightly the amp is trash. Those parts (toggle switch , input jack) very fragile not replaceable unless$$$$
