Later i'll probably buy Yamaha's top of the line DP simply because i like this one so much.
Sound
The sound quality is superb. I give it a 10 star rating (for it's price point - and probably the best i've heard for under $1,200). I'm refering to the samples themselves, thru $30 headphones, and not the speaker system on the keyboard itself - which isn't too bad either. Rich deep accurate lows and crisp popping highs, yet balanced and not to much treble.
Features
Not a ton of features, but what do you expect for $499. It has what you need and then some.
Ease of Use
Plays EXACTLY like a real grand piano. The keys play smooth and have a perfect feel when applying crescendo. Keys pop up nicely too upon release. The manual is clear and simple. Also, i noticed the buttons on top such as power, volume, voices, etc, are sturdy and have a quality feel when you push them down.
Quality
Built to last. Everything's fine in this regard.
Value
Well, i was deciding between this and the Casio DP for the same price and the Yamaha has MIDI IN/OUT which is SO important to those who work with DAW's. I also read a lot of reviews saying the key action is a little better on the Yamy. This keyboard is such an awesome value. I even bought it the day before it dropped to $499 and i'm still happy with it.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to contact.
The Wow Factor
Yeah it looks good and all, but it's a DP with a plastic encasing - what do you expect. I did notice the keys have a nice rounded edge on the sides of the black keys which helps for good playing action and this makes the keyboard palette as a whole look nice and polished.

Sound
I purchased this piano for my son for Christmas and the sound is absolutely beautiful. He says the feel of the keys is AWESOME!! He plays several different pianos as school/church, and he said this one was by far the best.
