I am not disappointed with this board. The sounds are clean, and the sequencer easy to use. The various performances spark ideas of your own. Take time to create favorites as you go thru the voices and performances. You will find yourself tayloring them to your needs later. I am still learning how to get the most out of this board. I bought the anniversary white version so I could get the extras it came with (extra sound banks and flash card etc. I cannot say enough about the quality of the sounds on this board. My last board was a Korg Triton Extreme 61. It cannot hold a candle to the sound quality of the XF. I look to spend many happy hours with the Motif in the future. Best musical instrument I have ever owned! It is as an artist I walked into Michael Angelo's studio and he was in painting, and he asked me to paint something with his help! Man I like this board. I have spent more than 20 hours on it while it was still in the store!

I am very familiar with Yamaha having owned from the 80's. The Yamaha CP70B Piano, DX7's DX7 11fd, V50, Motif, Motif EX, MOTIF XS. VERY PLEASED WITH ALL. NOW I decided for the XF6 due to hand issues the XS 8 weighted keys was too hard for me to play without pain so I went for the Semi- Weighted keys. This keyboard is awesome. It plays excellent, the sounds are over the top. Extremely pleased. This XF6 is a Mercedes Benz among Chevies in the keyboard category. Price to value is second to none.

This is fine instrument. I own it for a month and a half now, so far I've barely scratched the surface that's how many options this synthesizer has. Its definitely one of the best keyboards I ever owned and would recommend to every musician out there. I got it at zZounds.com for an incredible price plus I have an option of paying it off in monthly payments! Can't beat that deal. I've been making purchases at zZounds.com for a couple years now and they never let me down. Excellent price + excellent store = happy customer. Keep it up guys!!!
