This is the perfect marriage of price and quality. I ordered mine in the Old Violin Burst and the finish is stunning. The quality of fit and finish along with great features is second to none. Love the mid range sweep in the pre-amp. The Turner works easy and love the fact that it uses AA batteries instead of the more expensive 9 volt. Plays easy sounds great plugged in and while it's a thin line it still has above average tone on your couch. At $299.00 there is nothing to think about.

Ahem...retired and on the Donut Brigade this Yahama was just the trick for playing comfortably. It’s thin cut design doesn’t compromise on big sound of a full dreadnought either. The oval sound hole lends a unique look just right for an eccentric guy like me. I choose oriental blue and it’s gorgeous! It’s electric pick up sounds true in every respect and makes a beginner like me sound good. Thanks to zZounds for making it so easy to acquire this wonderful instrument. Their support and customer service has been exemplary!

A really great budget friendly guitar, especially on the payment plans zZounds offers. Even with the price tag this guitar plays well with a low action, the tone is clear with a nice bass to round it out, and the electronics are solid. The cons I’ve experienced owning this guitar would be the tuners on mine are stiff which makes tuning difficult, and the back of the neck is not very well finished, also strings needed changing (but that’s every new guitar honestly) but those cons alone are definitely not enough to make me put this guitar down! I would definitely recommend this guitar for someone looking for a comfortable guitar that looks as nice as it sounds

This guitar is absolutely amazing. I bought it in vintage white and it has to be the most beautiful acoustic I’ve ever seen. Sounds amazing right out of the box. Great, big sound and just wait until you plug it in. Doors will fly wide open! I’m in love!

If your looking for a great sounding electric acoustic that easily transitions from a small profile neck electric then the APX-600 is a great choice. Sounds great right out of the box and the intonation is spot on. It also has a very fast action for an acoustic. I would recommend light gauge strings as the seem to be the best fit for the small profile neck. I used DAddario Phosphor Bronze EJ15'S .010-.047.

Bought the Yamaha APX-600 on the 4 payment plan. It arrived in factory fresh condition with no flaws at all. Very pleased with zzounds as this is my second guitar purchase with them and with the best outcome. The Yamaha APX-600 has a small profile neck design and electronics that makes it easy to transition from an electric to an acoustic and still deliver an excellent acoustic sound. Would highly recommend this instrument to any player looking for a fast action electric acoustic.
