This ultra compact Class D bass head was well worth the wait! The Gnome follows closely along the lines of Trace Elliots ELF, and TC Electronics BAM200. These small Class D amps have amazing performance given their size. Warwick however went the route of designing it to appear less flashy. The amp is simply beautiful, and the hefty feel expresses quality and strength. The real test was the tone. It sounds fantastic. Punchy, deep, crystalline it’s all there. All the EQ controls have excellent feel and response to small adjustments so it’s very easy to dial in your sound. Compression activates only at extreme settings and is unobtrusive. Very little adjustment of the gain and master increase volume considerably. This thing is LOUD. The Warwick Gnome is the perfect choice as your main or backup amp for the next gig. Fits perfectly in a Pelican 1120 series case too.Highly recommended!
