Sound
This thing sounds GREAT with electric bass, guitar, acoustic instruments, synths, you name it. It definitely colors the sound but it does nothing but good to the tone. Thickens things up but also has lots of definition and note-to note clarity.
Features
Lots of great features on this that is severely lacking on other boxes. Both passive and active, battery or phantom, in between amp and speaker, and has a variable pad. No other box has that kind of feature set.
Ease of Use
Easy to use, but can't handle phantom and a battery simultaneously.
Quality
The knobs and switches stick out beyond the case, which is a poor design choice for sure. It is otherwise built quite sturdy.
Value
This might not be as clean as the Radial or Countryman stuff, but it sounds fantastic and is way cheaper. Stepping up your DI game is a must if you are recording or use a DI live. Acoustic bass and synth players take notice. Venues often have crappy DIs and your tone and gain before feedback is way higher with something like this.
The Wow Factor
I am never stepping back into the cheap DI box arena ever again. This sounds so much better and I never knew there could be this big of a difference.
