I rarely give revews unless something is true stand out special or beware not a good product. I found out about this product because one of my favorite 80's guitarists Warren DeMartini had mentioned his use of a King of Tone pedal based on an old Marshall Blues Breaker Pedal / Well that pedal has a long long wait and the Wampler Pantheon had come up as a worthy Blues Breaker Based Pedal, I have already owned one Wampler pedal - The Black Faux Tape Delay Pedal ( this too is an awesome pedal but, looks like they have upgraded it and is a different color) ...So I pulled the trigger and bought the Pantheon ---- This is hands down one of the best overdrive pedals on the market / I have a ton of gear , so here is something worth sharing , for recording quick demos - I have a Line 6 HX Stomp / while modeling amps get closer to tube type products / this pedal also is able to dial in a usefull amount of Bass without mud or flub / my recordings are coming out sick ...in a good way sick !!! - badass is better term / this kicks the thiness of modeling out the window and sounds as good as some of my best and most expensive eguipment. I'm still on wait for the King of Tone but, this Wampler is worthy of high praise - articulate, warm , clear , several useful voicings , EQ and Presence that are just right - it is an always on pedal for me./ I bought mine from zZounds BTW !

This is Wamplers take on the Bluesbreaker/KOT circuit. You can get a wide variety of dirt tones with this. I was able to take 2 OD pedals off of my board when I bought this thanks to the versatility! This is also $90 cheaper than a KOT with no waiting list!
Sound
This is a very articulate pedal especially with the toggle on the right in the down position.
Features
The gain selector switch gives you a lot of tonal options.
Ease of Use
It took me less than a minute to get killer sounds.
Quality
I really like the soft switch, easy to engage and no popping sound when pressed.
Value
This comes in $90 less than a King of Tone with no 2 year waiting list!
Manufacturer Support
Haven’t needed it.

This thing is just silly. You can’t find a bad setting. I messed with it for hours today after I just got it and can not decide what my favorite setting is. I can’t even decide what to put the other overdrives on my board...it just sounds incredible everywhere. I kinda feel like people are sleeping on this pedal I don’t understand why this isn’t on more boards yet. The morning glory is literally everywhere and this can do that and then much more. In fact this just replaced my MG. Don’t sleep on it...just do it!

"Wampler Pantheon - Incredibly Versatile Overdrive!"

I don't like a lot of distortion in my sound usually. I purchased the Wampler Belle pedal and was very pleased with its sustain and grit. The Pantheon picks up where the Belle leaves off. This pedal will give you anything from just a little bit of grind to some full on Sunshine of Your Love old school bluesbreaker sounds. With 3 distortion levels to play with you have an incredibly broad range. The Bass and Treble work as boost/cut so you can really shape your sound, and the voicing switch controls 3 flavors of compression/clip. I haven't really messed with the presence control as my Strat is plenty bright. If you want every vintage rock sound for old school blues and rock this is your pedal right here!
