The Foo Fighters are one of my favorite bands of all time. They use Vox AC30 and Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier amps mainly. Well, this little gem of an amp handles BOTH! It has a very powerful Dual Rectifier setting ('Double Rec' on the amp) which sounds incredible on it's own and put through the Line-In on my computer and run through Reaper with an EQ and Cabinet setting. It's the 'Poor Musician's' Dual Rectifier and it sounds awesome! That more than handles the Foo Fighters stuff I play! The other 10 Amp Sims built into the VXI are awesome as well. The effects are perfect and can be adjusted how you see fit. This amp can do pretty much anything you want it to do (within it's wattage, of course). It would be something, though, to run this direct from the headphone jack through a power amp and gig with it. I think it could handle it pretty easily. For me, this amp is worth every penny! In my opinion, it's even more valuable to me because of that Dual Rectifier modeling! Just perfect and powerful! Play it straight as it is or put it through the Line-In on a PC or power amp and this amp is a powerful little beast!
