I was extremely pleased with this amplifier. The weight is great, the sound is really nice. The built in compressor and gain is top notch. This amp has a very classic sound. It takes up very little space. This amplifier sounded amazing with my Stingray basses. Unfortunately, when I plugged in my 5 string Bongo Bass, the low B distorted the speaker pretty quickly. If you are looking for a great practice amp, a good 4 string small gig amp. I think this is a great choice. Unfortunately for me, since I do play alot of 5 string bass, it didn't fit the bill for what I would want it for. As far as a headphone amp....amazing!I highly recommend this amp to anyone, it just didn't fit the bill for exactly what I wanted it for.

This little guy looks really cool and has a great sound. I've had it for almost 2 years now and it served me well for that time. Looking back, I wish I had done a bit more research so when I got to the point I'm in now, I could've gotten a little bit more life out of it. Let me tell you what it is: a great little practice amp that's got great sound in a small package. It's awesome for learning and doing some jamming with some other guitarists(no drums). It's amazingly portable and it's got a nice drive and compression effects built right in. You'll be surprised at how much low end you can get out of a single 8 inch woofer.Let me tell you what it's not: Anything else. Add in a set of drums and you'll have to crank it all the way up just to hear it a little. Once it gets turned up really loud, it breaks up and everything becomes just really really muddy. It's not a great amp for a band rehearsal and certainly nothing you'd even play at a small gig.I really have enjoyed my time with this amp. It's a cool little practice amp and it's been extremely reliable. It sounds just as good as the day I got it. I could have gotten something a little louder for the same price and now that I'm actually playing bass in bands occasionally, I would have been able just pop over from my guitar amp to my bass without having to buy a whole new amp. In the end, it's my own fault for not knowing any better. Know what you are buying. If you just want a little high quality amp to play on your own, this thing is a stud. If you want something that can grow with you a little bit, maybe check out a Peavey or Hartke amp for around the same price.
