This Vox overwhelms beyond all expectations as far as price, tone, and audible "feel". It plays itself creating a pallette for your skills that is unencumbered by annoying idiosyncrasies and glaring tone flaws. It is better than any Fender tube amp I have owned, which includes Fender's good tube amps. I prefer low powered tube amps as I live with neighbors close by. A phenomenal first tube amp choice, or rehearsal and gig amp for smallish venues. I absolutely love this amp and so do my Sheraton and Casino. The Vox brings wonderful clean tones with beautiful neutrality.

A tone machine worthy of the legendary Vox heritage, you can obtain major rock, blues and jazz sounds, excellent clean and overdriven tones, with gain and volume doing all the work. No reverb or mid tone control, but if an amp sounds this stellar who needs a plethora of effects? This awesome amp can be the be-all amp for practice, rehearsal and small live gigs. If you live in an apartment or dorm or don't want to disturb others then this is definitely must have gear for your middle of the night inspirations. Absolutely recommended!
