Platters are very stable, best point of the unit. Adjustable jogwheel strength is great. Fader is amazing, Vestax comes through solid with the fader, very smooth, like on their scratch mixers.
Sound
I actually had a problem with the unit I ordered. When I hooked it up to my JBL LSR Series studio monitors I got a high pitch noise when no audio was playing. Not noticeable when I had music running through it from Traktor, but it was enough of a problem I would have to turn off the vci when not in use to avoid getting annoyed. Ultimately I decided to return it and instead went with the Pioneer DDJ-T1
Features
I loved the layout, the fact that it is symmetrical is great. The track selection four way knob thing was kind of weird. The buttons do feel a bit plasticky, not padded rubber like other units. Especially the play cue buttons, they're a hard plastic and they click pretty loud.
Ease of Use
Everything was easy except the audio feedback high pitch noise I stated earlier.
Quality
This thing was really solid, even with the underside being plastic on this version (versus the vci-100 original which had an all metal housing)
Value
Rather go for a VCI-100se with arcade button mod for the money.
Manufacturer Support
They don't even really have a lot of information on their own website. I think the feedback might have been just a driver issue, but couldn't ever confirm it because this product almost doesn't exist online
The Wow Factor
If the lights were as bright as the stock photos we'd be in business, but they are pretty dim when ran off usb power (and the power adapter does not come with the unit)
