This was a great purchase. I will buy another pair of these for larger events, Super heavy duty, and I recommend them highly for someone wanting the best lighting/speaker stand on the market. You cannot beat these.
Sound
They Dont sound! Although, they go up so high, your sound sounds better, because you speakers are almost hanging from the roof.
Features
Tele-Lock Collar is the Best thing since electricity. The leveling leg makes life so much easier. I do wish Ultimate made a dual speaker bar for mounting two speakers on the top of these.
Ease of Use
Slide the legs out, and put the speaker on, and raise with ease! SImple as 1-2-3!
Quality
This stand knocks Any other "Off the Shelf" speaker stand out of the water. They have metal, not plastic fasteners, and they are really heavy duty! Even when the leveling leg is in use, its still strong as an ox.
Value
You get what you pay for, and these are the best. So im not complaining about the price. Very reasonable for the quality you get from these guys.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed them. If you sell quality products, customer service isnt really needed, although, they were super nice and helpful at the time of purchase. Will order again from these guys.
The Wow Factor
It looks AWESOME! Your speakers are higher than everyone else, and the bigger, the better!

Should have got the TS-99s years ago! Putting Peavey SP5 up in the air was nearly impossible. But with the Ultimate Support TS-99s putting 64lbs in the air is NOW a breeze. They supports the weight without a problem. Very sturdy!

I already have one of these - the tall stand with the adjustable leg for levelling on uneven ground. Although this is a very heavy stand to carry, and so tall that at six feet in height I can just barely place my PA speakers on these by myself, I really like the ability to get the speakers way up in the air. The huge legs take up stage space, but provide really excellent stability for the mains. The levelling leg is a Godsend, negating the need to carry a bunch of 2"x4" wood blocks to level the speakers at outdoor parties.Although zZounds price was really excellent (which is why I sprang for the 2nd stand, having paid $139 for the first one), the stand I got from them sticks severely when you try to raise it, making me think this may have been a factory 2nd or damaged goods, although it looks brand new. These are great stands, but more than most people need. If you don't do a lot of outdoor stuff, or need to put your speakers 9 feet in the air, save money and get the 88's instead.
