I use an amp with no reverb, and generally prefer plate reverbs over spring to begin with. When my other reverb pedal crapped out, I purchased this one on a whim. I am extremely pleased with the sounds it can achieve, and it has just enough tweak-ability to get the reverb to be set just right. It achieves the always on, but not in the way sound, while remaining beautiful. The small footprint and top mounting jacks are a plus as well. (plus, one of the settings has the LED light up purple when engaged, which is just super cool)
