This interface has blown me away. The build quality is stellar. I love the solid metal exterior. The buttons have a great tactile feel, with a satisfying click (almost too satisfying that I find myself randomly clicking them because of ADHD). The center knob is a little wobbly if you put pressure on it and if you spin it too fast, it will not track. Not a huge issue just a small thing. The preamps sound great, huge step from my Focusrite (even though I still love my Focusrite and is a portability champ). The included software is also really great. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the features such as the unison software to suit my workflow but that is more of a personal issue. The inclusion of ADAT is great and expected at this price point. I wish it was compatible with usb gen 3.2 2x2 because that is all my pc has. Work flawlessly with my MacBook though.

Universal Audio Apollo interfaces are not plug and go... you have create an account with Universal Audio then register your product and then you will have access to download the software for your interface....Excellent interface UA!!! Keep up the good work!!!

They falsely advertise as windows compatible but it only works with a small select few windows computer builds. And they won’t even let you return it when it won’t even connect to your computer for you to register the device…

Had this for 2 years, it’s not that great. The software is Trash (console) and its parameters don’t open or function smoothly Idk about any of the rackmount stuff but the twin x and its software will fail you. I’m running Mac that runs superbly.I’m gonna contact support but this software is glllliiitchy just trying to open Beware

so here's me, a guy who just got his hands on a new 16 inch macbook and the apollo twin x, a pair made in heaven. now heres me 2 days with both of these things trying as hard as I can to figure out why my apollo has issues connecting to my mac? I've tried every cable, spent hundreds on them and then returned everything. I've tried to contact support with no help at all and the phone operators having nothing to offer, and I've tried everything reccomended to me online and on their website. It just doesn't work, it charges my macbook, but nothing is recognized and I can't start working on my music, which was the plan and the reason I purchased this because it's supposed to be "plug and go" If you are afraid of never getting support, I'd highly reccomend not buying this.
