"Perfect for Keyboard player/singer."
Verified Purchaser
zZounds has verified that this reviewer purchased this specific product from us.
I would wear this one out. I have not tried any others, but am 100% satisfied with this one's performance. They should not have discontinued it without a replacement.
Sound
The sound output is clear and loud - adequate quality for a stage monitor. We use one for the keyboard player and one for the drummer. Both say they love them.
Features
Excellent input and control features. The keyboardist (song leader) has his mic, the keyboard and a vocal mix from the other singers in it, with volume control for all 3. He loves it. It greatly reduces monitor setup time for him.
Ease of Use
East setup, clear instructions.
Quality
Great TC quality. Sturdy aluminum case. The wind knocked over one unit twice during a concert and there were no ill-effects.
Value
Great product at the price.
Manufacturer Support
Have not contacted them.
The Wow Factor
Perfect for our needs. The clever design for mic stand mounting makes it perfect for a singer/player. The controls are right on the front for easy user access. The I/O box design is great because you only have one cable and the power cord to the speaker itself.

"Probably the best small personal monitor on the market."

I am satisfied
Sound
I have had this monitor for over a year and love it. It is super clear, clean, and plenty loud as a monitor not to mention very small and light. It's clarity really cuts through so you can hear yourself.
Features
It also has a very cool mounting system which allows you to mount it on a microphone stand at a couple of different angles. You can also mount it on the mic stand you are using for your mic and has all the hardware necessary. I bought the extra soft case which fits it perfectly and holds the extras. It has solid metal construction and has given me no problems. I play acoustic guitar and sing and run my mix through it and keep it at about a 45 degree angle from me at and 3 or 4 feet away. I own several of their products and they have all been great. If size, weight and good sound matter to you then you can't go wrong.
Ease of Use
Plug and play. All the knobs are clearly marked although I would have liked them a bit bigger for my bad eyes, thus the one point deduction.
Quality
Built like a military tank!
Value
I thought the price was a bit steep but they are on sale these days. In the long run you get what you pay fo.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed it.
The Wow Factor
looks cool and its small size keeps it from sticking out.

"A Great Little Powered (and powerful) Monitor"
Verified Purchaser
zZounds has verified that this reviewer purchased this specific product from us.
Sound
These monitors have a very natural sound. They are actually loud enough for a small venue. Most of the time we use a Bose L1 Model 1 for the PA and use these as monitors. The sound is very compatable.
Features
The breakout box is very handy for connecting more than one monitor,
Ease of Use
The tone controls are very good. You can shape the sound easily.
Quality
This is a well made, nice looking product.
Value
The package deal from ZZounds with the cases is a really great value. There is nothing that comes close for the price.

"Best I've ever owned."
Verified Purchaser

Nothing else more to add... this is a definite buy if you're looking for something that's powerful, compact, and user friendly.
Sound
Sounds quality is great. I've owned a handful of other speakers/amps/monitors but nothing tops this in terms of overall quality. It packs tremendous sound for such a small speaker. I use it at large halls as a PA at the same time as I run my mp3 through it, and its as if I'm using a 12 inch powered speaker. I used it to throw a house party once and it filled the entire house with huge sound not even half way up.
Features
It has everything you need to connect a mic, mp3, cd player, whatever. I use it for music and PA simultaneously using the i/o box and its great.
Ease of Use
Its very easy to use and the manual is very clear.
Quality
I comes in a strong casing; much tougher than the higher end amps and monitors I've owned. Its also smooth looking. Most amps are downright ugly, but this one is nice looking.
Value
Value is higher than just a 10. You cannot purchase a more power monitor, that is as sturdy, small and sounds as clean for this price. No one else comes close.
Manufacturer Support
I wasn't sure about the brand so I called TC Helicon and they were very easy to deal with. They answered all my questions.
The Wow Factor
Honestly, I could not believe that such a small speaker sounded so incredible. Everytime I use it at gigs, I'm floored.
