You won't find a better sounding unit for under a thousand bucks. I know, I spent a month going through every effects unit in the store. Buying them and taking them back before my 30 days were up. When I got to this one my search was over. I also have a high end lexicon unit. When I don't want to fiddle around with a bunch of paramiters and just get the job done, the M300 is just what the doctor ordered.

Excellent sounding reverbs and delays. This unit lends itself more to studio/recording setting, or uses where you will not have to switch effect settings on the fly (like in the middle of a live song), since there is a little bit of a delay when switching settings. In a recording situation, this isn't a problem at all.

There isn't as much control over the nuances of the sound that you would find in more expensive units, but the sounds are so good you won't miss the tweeks 95% of the time
