Just received this amp today, and wow... it blows me away!!Mainly bought for a practice amp to leave at the place my band jams at (just so I don’t have to carry around my rack every time we practice...) mainly only going to be using a TC K212 cab with this head. Get everything hooked up, mess with eq a little, turn it up halfway and BAM, kicks you right in the chest. Completely shocked. Messed with it some more, and decided, wth, let’s hook my K410 up with it also. Get it all hooked up, and take volume to about halfway, and it kept up like it was nothing. Very surprised the power that little amp can produce. I don’t know how well it would hold up at an actual show running both cabs for 4 hours straight, but wouldn’t surprise me if it would do it.Haven’t messed with the tone print yet. Probably won’t use it much. But it came with a chorus effect already on it and it sounded pretty good as well.

I love and hate reviews. They're great for getting input on a product you're thinking of buying, but also can be misinforming. Everything is subjective to the player, right? Well, I have 30+ years of playing experience, and have played many, if not close to all amps out there.( that's been said in many reviews). Again, I hate reviews.....But, I felt that this had to be said for other bass players to reference......This tc head has really surprised me! First, I always felt the tone print was kind of a gimmick. Second, I just assumed they didn't have a good tone because of the low price. Wrong on both accounts! The tone print is actually very useful. Could be more pedal friendly, but for me, compression is all I need it for. What I was most impressed with is the tone! A very nice thick and pronounced low end with the right amount of midrange and top end! I won't comment on the power, because I feel that's a matter of need. Some people will say, really loud for 250 watts, or not enough power for me. Well, before buying an amp, you should consider your needs for wattage. For me, 250 is plenty. I only need stage volume because I always go direct out to PA. So, bottom line, great little amp! Don't be fooled by price or wattage!
