Taylor T5 Standard Electric Guitar (with Case)

Thanks to its Sitka spruce top and one-of-a-kind three-pickup configuration, the T5 Standard has both acoustic guitar richness and electric guitar clarity.

This is the second T5 I have owned. I sold the first one in 2009 due to financial needs and always regretted it. I was able to get this T5 at $700 off of the regular discount price because it is a Scratch and Dent deal. I had some anxiety over what the condition would be because they are mostly returns from previous buyers but when I got it and inspected it I found it to be flawless. If there is any wear and tear or blemish I have been unable to find it. The only thing I don't care for are the tuning machines. They seem especially sensitive to me and tend to go from not seeming to be effecting the tun to. all of a sudden, going to far. And they could have a bit more resistance in my opinion. They are just too easy to turn. I don't remember my first T5 having that touchy of tuners so it just may be this guitar.Otherwise this guitar is just like I remember my first one to be like and is the best of it's kind out there. Tone is superb, neck is great, fit and finish is normal Taylor top quality.

Musical Style:

Rock, blues, some country.

This guitar is the most versatile piece of equipment that money can buy. Between playing lead and just plain acoustic, this guitar is amazing. Sound and quality is exceptional. If your thinking of a Taylor to fill your playing professionally or just plain beating around the house, this is it.

Musical Background:

Been playing since the age of 13. At home player. Play a T/3 and now this T/5 and also a Gretsch 5422 LTD.

Musical Style:

Country, rock, blues.
