This guitar is better than the description that is given. It has a great sound, tone and is a dream to play, not to mention that it is a beautiful guitar. I was looking at the Taylor 814ce because I loved the sound of the guitar, but it was just out of my price range. Then I looked at the Taylor 714ce because it was more in my price range and I love the vintage sunburst, but it was a little bland compared to the 814. Then I saw the Taylor 710e. It plays beautifully- it is just what I was looking for. It has a crisp, clear and beautiful tone. If you think a Dreadnought is too boomy, try this guitar. It is not boomy- even if you play hard. I am very pleased with my purchase.
