For everything that comes in the box, this is a great deal. The first one i received actually came with Cubase software, but zZounds made the exchange very easy. I returned the Cubase version and exchanged for the on that comes with Cakewalk Sonar (as advertised). The interface is very easy to set up. Just download the drivers and you are good to go. The Tascam website says the drivers are not compatible with Windows 8 however its running just fine on my Windows 8 computer. Just fyi. The mic and headphones are very good quality. Tascam has been making recording equipment for years which is why i chose this recording package over others in this price range. Overall this package seems to be very reliable. Finally the Sonar LE software. As far as I can tell, the LE version is almost as good as Sonar Home Studio. I think the only difference is you only get 32 tracks with LE and 64 with Home Studio, but it is still plenty. Works great for me. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again.
