I was looking for a better than usual mic stand. Many are out there and most will do the job not hurting your wallet. Tama's Iron Works are great stands and worth every dollar. Latch Lake are great stands also and worth every dollar, $$$! Buy it and it lasts forever. However, take a look at this TASCAM TM-AM1and look at the price. BIG SAVINGS, BIG VALUE, GREAT STAND FOR THE MONEY. Well built and sturdy for a very good light weight stand. The counter weight is a big plus if using LDC's for overheads on a kit. I really like what you get for the price!!!This is a mic stand so sound quality depends on the mic and source. I do have a digital field recorder from TASCAM and support was excellent with their help.
