If you are looking for a full, woody and deep tone with great projection then this may be a great snare drum for you! It has a wide tuning range from low to high and never sounds muddy or choked. The quality of he wood and hardware is outstanding for a drum of this price. The throw off and the snare butt adjustment are smooth and precise and feel top notch. The baring edges were smooth and perfect and unlike many lower cost snares, this has a very well crafted snare bed. The finish was perfect with a deep gloss. It looks great with the black nickle hardware too! Overall this is a great sounding snare with many tuning options with the looks to back it up!

Great buy for the money. I've been wanting a new snare for a long time i love the sound of maple,its warm this snare is 6 deep 10 lugs built well its got pop and warmth you wont be disappointed.

I really like this snare drum. I play mostly rock and pop music and I like the rich snare drum sound this drum produces. It reminds me of the old marching band
snare sound. I am very pleased I purchased it. The shipping was quick and I really enjoy the payment plan option.
