"I got this to play and record Salsa,pop-rock and acoustic music with. It's quiet for the studio. Nice feel for improvisations"
If it is spoilt or worn, would get a new one. But I don't think that will happen so soon.
Sound
Usable out of the box. Idiot proof, no strange knobs and settings to mess up the feel leaving most ppl at a lost to the preferred settings.
Very smooth, stable. Use it to play clave on my cowbell. Good response, and kick-back. Stiker sounds great. Sensitive enough for good dynamics.
Features
Great features in the mechanics, and design.
I don't see other features to help it from sliding around like nice sticky rubber pads with decent surface area. I play anywhere, including smooth marble floors.
Ease of Use
Out of the box, works great with good feel. Carry case included makes it so easy to transport to gigs.
Quality
For the price, it's a dream.
Manufacturer Support
Grade it seven because I so far use the website for help only.
The Wow Factor
It's practical and useful, look forward to gigging with it. But I doesn't make me want to make love to it everyday.

"Bomb-proof pedal, low price."
The powder coating is a little messy in places, but that's the only flaw with the HP200. I've owned this pedal for 5 years, and after stomping on it every day (and gigging), it still looks and performs like new.
Features
Hoop clamp rotates to keep pedal on the floor, adjustable beater angle, full plate construction, heavy.
Ease of Use
No owners manual needed.
Quality
My buddy and I compared this side-by-side with his DW 5000, and the construction is almost identical. Heavy gauge steel base plate, massive pedal thickness, substantial spikes, etc. Powder coated. Very sturdy and very stable. Silent (no squeaks).
Value
You'd be hard pressed to find a pedal out there built as well as this one at any price, let alone a budget price.
