This module is hands down the best one I own although I like many of the synergy modules. The ecosystem does seem to be evolving and adding better and better modules (though some like the SLO are still fan favorites). The powerball is the easiest high gain module to dial in. You can get tight scooped metal tones, mid heavy crunch. Classic rock and even super glassy cleans are all within reach. It is versatile and could easily find its way into any modern rock or metal production. Can’t recommend it enough!

Insane response, dynamics, harmonics, and gain, did i mention gain? I generally run on 4.5-5 with the switch on hi gain, red channel. Even on lo its plenty! Blue channel is my clean channel and its all i use for recording and live.
