What can I say, probably one of the best amps I have ever used and thats 35 years in the business. Sound quality and control cannot be faulted. Quality is questionable, no doubt it is bullet proof build quality but the on/off switch seems a little fragile and on mine there is a very sharp edge to the grate covering the heat sink on the back. Small things I know but cut your finger on the way to a gig and youre in trouble!! Weight is perhaps another problem unless youre built like a gorilla !

It has no tone that is worth bragging about. It's OK.

There is an octave function on this amp that would be cool if it actually worked on every note on the neck. It has a cool foot switch for it though that worked sometime.

It looks pretty BUT I was the first one to use it as the house bass rig. OK...there was an acoustic act on before us but after about one song....something blew up on it. Actually I think it blew when we were checking it. Maybe it was just one amp out of a million and I got the bad one BUT it didn't let a good taste in my mouth for the amp or SWR.

Well...if it would work for longer than 5 minutes with out blowing up it might be worth the money.

Like I said it looks pretty BUT if it is only going to break.....who cares!
