This amp has a ton of features and flexible tone sculpting at this price point. I would say it compares very favorably against the Blues Jr. Not that I'm trashing Fender products since they are also very good if you are looking for that sound. But this is very different and has more choices with boost and gain switches. Throw in a blues overdrive pedal and you have a lot of options. The pick attack response is awesome. It also has on-board reverb, an effects loop, volume/master controls to drive pre-amp and output, and a direct out for my PA mixer. Did I say it has a lot of options? I was looking for something different and less-traveled. This was the right choice. Haven't tried it yet but videos show it will get real nasty with a slide. Assembled in the USA in a wood cabinet and it feels solid.

I’ll be honest I was a bit skeptical after watching all of the video reviews I could find mainly because the amps demeanor seemed to bit all fuzz and no love for clean head room. The amp is perfect and has more than enough clean headroom for home use and only gets fizzy when dimed for my tele and Strat. My deluxe telecaster was really fat sounding and was easily tamed with rolling off the kids and bass to around 10 o’clock. I have only fender tube amps and a TSA5TVR to compare it to and it holds its own to my DRR with a bit warmer and and smoother pre break up. The blues junior IV I loved as my main practice amp now seems so harsh and non musical compares to the Supro BK12. Did I mention the flawless super sexy retro cabinet(The lettering is facing the back of the amp but I plan on fixing it with a new control plate with the lettering that can be seen from the front) I know this is pre mature but comparatively I think this one is a keeper and my go to amp going forward!!? I’m a believer

I just recently got this, I think it's fantastic. Solid, well made and well packed. Beautiful warm cleans, and distortion that is just phenomenal. Totally stands out compared to a Blues Jr. or Marshall DSL 20 at the same price point. Very happy with it!

This amp breaks up and has great tone at reasonably low volumes. sounds even better with a tube screamer before it. this amp pairs great with a strat. Im very pleased with this purchase. Ive had this for at least 5 months and the tone gets even better once the speaker is broken in. Tje boost switch really lets this amp open ip
