Im a fan of modifying cheaper, mid level guitars. I may consider buying a second one to do that with. However, right out of the box, this guitar is pretty awesome. I will be swapping out the tuners for something better and will also be installing some brass compensated saddles. I did have to set it up. I was able to drop the action quite a bit and didnt have any issues with fret buzz or having to adjust the truss rod. Thats my personal preference though, and the inability to leave well enough alone. Dont sit on this one, especially at this price. Its worth every penny and then some.

I've been looking at this guitar for a few months and finally pulled the trigger. Got it on the labor day sale for $296 brand new. I love teles but I can't stand playing guitars that limit fretboard access so this guitar bridged that gap for me. Pickup configuration is pretty cool, the middle and bridge pickup actually sounds pretty good. The neck pickup doesn't articulate well and can sound very muddy under any sort effect pedal unfortunately but it doesn't mean it's so bad to stay away. Mine came in within 3 days, well packaged, and setup was perfect right out of the box. Squier really did a great job on this one!
