Wow. Waited for a long time to get this 50’s style P Bass in this color into my arsenal. Right out of the box it played great. A small setup and new strings will definitely put this bass right up to my Fender Jazz bass. Great Bass for a beginner, and the advanced player. I have been playing for 36 years And this is an amazing Bass for the price.

I received my Squier Classic Vibe '50's Precision Bass today and I couldn't wait to get home from work and there it was Triple boxed which almost killed me from the anticipation but I knew that it was protected so after I cut through all the reinforcements there she was as beautiful as ever in 440 tuned and ready to play and I could not believe how Darkly roasted the neck and fingerboard was and the candy coating (lacquer) was so thick and pretty it actually looked wet as well as the wood so brilliantly carved with unique grain impression just had me mesmerised as I gaze upon a Picasso from the 50s with every detail so refined and accurate that I almost forgot to plug it in and as I did so she rested easy on my lap effortlessly and equal in balance as I play a Groove and captured the essence of that old 50s Magic that fender gave to the world via the first feasibly playable electric bass guitar."I am officially elated."...I own almost 30 guitars and basses and the latest 4 being purchased from the cordial service professionals at zZounds and I can say another Perfect buy, not only a bargain price and prompt efficient delivery but top quality and service second to none.
