I bought this with the intention of doing modifications, but found that I didn’t have to make as many as I thought. The tuners on this guitar are not good. I had to swap them out for locking tuners which don’t cost much depending on what you buy. The nut is made of cheap plastic so I swapped it out for a cattle bone nut (9.5 radius). If you don’t like the white pick guard, there are a variety of colors available on the Internet to replace it with. The guitar is extremely playable with the shorten scale, which makes me able to play so I wasn’t able to play before. The full maple neck and fingerboard feel great. The pick ups, I’ve decided to keep because they have a very nice ceramic sound. I may switch them out for another pick up in the future.
