I purchased this bass around March 2021. It really is very esthetically pleasing. The pictures don't do this paint job justice. The neck feels great. I only had to do basic intonation and string height adjustments and it was ready. I'd say the weakest link of the bass itself is the electronics. I primarily play metal and hardcore and found they put out lots of sound but the mid-range in this bass is lacking. You really have to work your amp to get a specific tone (This bass sounds killer with a pick and some distortion) But once you get it set up this bass have a very distinct growl that is very pleasing. If this is your first bass or a backup it's a solid choice. I upgraded the on board pre-amp to a Darkglass tone capsule and now this is my primary bass.
