"Definitely worth purchasing! Take it from a Fender fan."

This has everything a regular Jazz Bass has but is available in sunburst. I replaced the chrome knobs with Fender JBass knobs (black), restrung it with Fender 7250MLs and it's a fine looking/sounding bass now. I use it for practice all the time.
Sound
Let me be clear. Straight out of the box, I haven't had a Squier Vintage Modified sound excellent. But this is my third one. With a nice set up they are wonderful basses. You can really get a nice Fender Jazz Bass sound out of them. I gave it a ten based on cost vs performance. For the price, you cannot beat the sound. It sounds awesome.
Features
No gig bag, no bells and whistles. But what do you expect for this price?
Ease of Use
It's a Jazz Bass. Pretty straight forward.
Quality
The fit and finish is normally pretty good. Other than a small ding on the headstock which I didn't mind, this one was near perfect. Quality control seems to be as good or better than some bass manufacturers selling basses at 7X the cost of this one.
Value
Easily worth the price of admission.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't used customer service ever.
The Wow Factor
Very good looking bass. It's not as sexy as the sunburst Geddy Lee I owned but for what I paid for this Squier, it's a beauty.

I purchased this bass as a cheat beginners bass. When I received it the strings were a little high. I dropped the strings and the bridge pickup and it played really well. I even let a friend of mine who plays bass for a very well known recording artist try it out. He was blown away. This is a great bass, it could be sold at twice the price and still be well worth it.
