This is one nice axe, ya'll. I am blown away by the pickups...the tone this guy gets is first rate. Plays well, has almost a thumb bass feel to it. The brass nut is perfect, and although low is gig ready right out of the box! Easy to dial in any tone you are after...and the bass/ hi cut are killer.

I've been playing bass for 36 years and this bass is great for the price. I've owned a 3 Spectors now. One is a USA bolt-on, the other was an older Legend neck-thru with EMG HZs on it, and this one. This bass is a serious upgrade to the older Legend. The pickups sound great although I will more than likely trade them for EMG DC40s as I prefer active pickups. The preamp is great and I prefer only bass and treble... I hate screwing with midrange. I wish this were available as a 6-string as well, please remedy this Spector. You'll never regret getting this bass imo,
