I had been looking for a 6 string bass for a while. Spector was the only brand I was interested in for two reasons: 1.) I'm in love with their basses and 2.) I have a featured artist endorsement deal with them and in order to keep it I need to play just Spector. When I came across the Legend Classic 6, I was blown away by the deal. Normally retailing for around $1,200, zzounds had it for $579.99. I knew it was too good to pass up. And reasoning for the discount (a blemish, which I have yet to find) seemed to minor for me to pass up the bass. So I ordered it and received it just two weeks later. When I plugged in to play, it sounded beyond exceptional, and played great even with the stock strings and unadjusted action. I did later adjust it to fit my playing style a bit more, but not by much. Overall I am absolutely satisfied with my order and the zzounds experience.

My Spector 6 string is a great bass. I have large hands and the neck feels so very right for me. The volume and tone controls are very sensitive. I would like a better pop (metallic) sound but I am still experimenting with strings and amp settings. It is a solid beautiful piece of wood, heavy but worth it. I'm a Church Musician and the incredible range of sound lets me cover every song as low or high as a particular song requires. I'm very satisfied and proud to own it.
