I wasn’t sure about Source Audio since all of their pedals are so expensive. I didn’t think it could be THAT much better than any other delay or reverb, but boy was I wrong. This is hands down the last reverb and delay pedal you will ever need. It’s insanely customizable and you can recall up to 128 presets via MiDi or 8 presets from the pedal itself. It’s a little noises through amps that don’t have an effects loop, but a noise gate fixes that problem quickly. Would 1000% buy again.

I love the sounds you can get out of this pedal. Pristine and clear. I set up a simple “oil can” delay and a shimmer reverb (dialed way down so it was barely doing the shimmer thing) at a gig last week, and it sounded great. I had been using a Keeley Caverns pedal, and the difference in clarity/tone is shocking. Collider is unmistakably nicer tone, especially in the shimmer reverb effect. I’d only used the Caverns pedal for about a month, and I realized it just wasn’t capable of clean “transparent“ delays and reverbs. Features I love ❤️ in the Collider:- easy to use, save, recall presets. Extremely useful especially live.- using an external switch for tap tempo- if you get this pedal, USE THIS FEATURE. It works perfectly. -the ability to use two reverbs or two delays simultaneously. Sounds great too!-the lock function! Excellent feature. Keep your settings from getting messed up! Mostly I love the pedal, but here are the things I don’t love: -even though it’s generally a positive and I get why it’s set up like this, the need to toggle between delay and reverb to adjust their respective settings can cause you trouble in live settings. -without an external footswitch, dialing in tap tempo isn’t 100% easy or reliable; once I got the external tap tempo switch, zero issues.-inputs/outputs/ other ports on the sides of the pedal: I’d rather they (and every effect pedal manufacturer) kept all I/O everything on the back. This is nitpicking though. SUMMARY: This is my favorite delay/reverb dual pedal that I’ve ever owned, and I’d go so far to say that I like it’s user interface better than my Eventide H9. It sounds great, cuts through the mix with clean tone, and has very useful sounds. I’ve had other Source Audio Pedals that I liked but were a bit too feature packed and sub-layer-dependent to program, but this one I LOVE. I should mention that I’d had this pedal before but sold it when I got the H9. Then I went back to basics, sold almost everything and finally came back to the sound and simplicity of this pedal. I love this thing. Just remember to get a footswitch to control tap tempo!!! I use the tiny but sturdy MXR tap tempo switch with a regular TS patch cable.

First- I own the Nemesis delay one as well as a TC alter ego x4 and TC HOF Reverb: When I first fired this up I was wowed by the shimmer and edome reverb but after diving in I found that none of the reverbs are warm in the slightest sense. Even adjusting the tone knob would not warm up any of the types of reverb. Delays: not even close to either my nemesis or TC alter ego x4. Once again the delays sounded thin with a high end shimmer to every type that I could not dial out. User interface: very frustrating to use in stand alone non app mode. You need to remember to switch over what you want to control. If you are adjusting kets say reverb mix level and do not save it and then go to adjust delay, the reverb looses its settings etc. App- my LG phone would not work with this unit. Works fine on my Nemesis. PC app: plugging this into your computer generates so much noise that its not possible to hear your guitar while making adjustments. The PC app has very limited capabilities so if your phone app wont work youre just out of luck. Over all I say a hard pass on this. It would have saved so much room. Bummer.
