I have a home recording studio and a two-mic input Pro-Tools M-Box system. I bought top of the line mics, and ended up with shaky results on the drum tracks - lots of bleed-through, no good balance. Then I remembered reading that Nirvana's Nevermind used all triggered drum samples. After I bought TRIGGER, I began mixing the kick, snare, and tom samples into the songs, blending with the original drums, and it was vastly improved! If you're on a budget and can't afford to record drums in a professional studio, hiring a sound engineer and all that, do yourself a big favor and get this plug-in! It will take your song to that next level.
