You want a quality microphone for podcast and to use at live events, this is the mic. I use mine for both podcast, which the app is amazing and user friendly and I've used it at live events where I'm able to get great sound standing a short distance away from it and people can hear me loud in clear in the back of a large catering hall that can hold 300-400 people.
