I have been putting the Nazgul in every guitar I own. I have seven Dime guitars that were born for this pickup! All of Pale Horse Prophesy's last CD was recorded on Nazgul loaded guitars. The clarity and depth of these pups are unmatched.

My current rig is a Schecter blackjack , a pro tools modeler for effects and a Marshall jcm900 head running 50 watts with a half stack greenback 4x12 cabinet. The Nazgul bridge pickup and Sentinet neck. The Nazgul has an incredible crunchy metal sound, very hot . I recently tried the Black Winter bridge and in my opinion the Nazgul has more sustain and a heavier crunch for metal, where as the Black Winter has more of a dime bucker sound less bass , a little thinner. I am kind of dissapointedin the Black Winters they are supposed to be 16.6k (really hot) but they don't sound even close to the Nazgul which is 13.?k. If you play metal definitely try the Nazgul -Sentinet combo they are incredible. ....
