This is an excellent choice if you want that vintage "P" bass sound. Great lows and wide mid range. Very clear highs. An authentic P bass pickup. Its like being in the 60's.Very easy to install and set.

"These DO have logo covers"

Was totally disappointed to receive the SPB-1 VINTAGE pickup set, which explicitly says in the description that they “come with black non-logo covers.” And the picture on the listing shows the pickup with no logo on the pickup cover. Well guess what — they DO have a logo, a giant “SEYMOUR DUNCAN” nearly 3/4 the way across the entire pickup.I know this might seem whiny to some, but it is blatant false advertising. And I’m willing to bet that the majority of people playing a vintage P-Bass don’t want their pickup to say ANYTHING on it. What’s “vintage” about plastering your brand across a pickup that has never said anything on it since its inception. This is not the end of the world, but I just want others to know that you won’t be getting the pickup in the picture.
