I had these installed in my Fender Player Stratocaster plus top, to upgrade from the stock pickups, a couple weeks ago. What a difference! Clearer, better tone and higher maximum volume. Sounds like a high end Strat now.It really sings. Spanky lower strings, chimey higher strings. I own a lot of guitars, and this is the only electric I’ve been playing since I got it back from shop. Definitely one of the better gear purchases I’ve made in the last few years. I’ve put SD Quarter Pounders in a couple basses in the past, but this is the first time modding a regular electric. SD has won me over. Considering getting some HBs to put into one of my other guitars, if the novelty of this set ever wears off.
