For starters.. I'm playing on a Dean 750X Custom through a Peavey 6505MH that's hooked up to an Avatar cab loaded Celestion V-30s. I use the miniature ibanez tube screamer with the level dimed and the tone and gain turned down. These pickups are so sick that my amps gain only needs to be at 5 to get badass tone. The Nazgul is amazing for crushing chords. The chunkier the better. It can do technical stuff just fine.. But it shines with them chords and fast chugs. Its filthy, it has the midrange and it certainly has the growl. The sentient is sweet. To me it sounds like something Dimebag would have used. Its a very open and classic sounding pickup. I'd say it pairs perfectly with the Nazgul. Works amazing for cleans and sweep arpeggios. If any of that sounds appealing to you then grab a set! Hope my review helps y'all.
