I like extremely high output Puckups and have Dime Buckers in everything , I played these and was blown away , I put the set in a Les Paul DC Custom that I built , midrange punch and chugging brutality even tuned down to B, no lose of definition with the Gain Dimed , think Dimebucker with more definition and midrange. Never been a fan of neck pickup sound's but the Jupiter has some very good sound's , both pickups very responsive to the tone control, If your into brutal drop tuning and want definition ,absolutely no disappointment here. Thought I would add , unlike Dimebuckers these have thick metal plates.
