"Poor transmitter battery life"

Overall this wireless unit is really nice. It sounds good, it includes all the cables you need, and the pedal tuner works well. Fully charging the transmitter took over 2 hours, and then I used the unit to practice on my own, just to try it out. The transmitter died after just over 2 hours. Most of the gigs I play are 4 hours. So I thought I could buy a second transmitter. The transmitters cost $179!!! So now the whole system costs $558. The Shure GLDX is $449, with a transmitter battery life of over 10 hours. I think Sennheiser has to rethink the transmitter on this unit. This will not work for most gigging musicians.

I purchased this last year and play close to two hundred shows a year and as the other reviewer stated I am doing good to get 2 hours of charge on this unit. Clarity is great and there is no latency but the battery life span is very poor. I would not recommend buy this product unless they fix this issue.
